Hi! I’m Hadlee Kinghorn, and at 20 years old, I’ve had 10 years of experience in graphic design. 

What started as me designing book covers for my friends in 5th grade turned into placing in top spots at state competitions and qualifying for nationals as a member of the Business Professionals of America in events such as Website Design, Graphic Design Promotion, Digital Publishing, as well as Digital Design and Communication Concepts while teaching myself how to use the Adobe Creative Suite.

My passion for graphic design took me to New York City, where I studied Communication Design at the Fashion Institute of Technology. At FIT, I expanded my understanding of the elements of design and learned how to apply them in a wide range of projects. I also discovered the importance of intentional design and how to use design strategy.

Since graduating in May of 2024, I’ve been working as a Graphic Designer at BA Marketing & Publicity. This includes me creating social media posts, print materials, and brand identities for businesses in a variety of industries. While my strength is design, I also have experience in motion graphics and video editing.

When I am not designing or reading about design, I enjoy playing video games, dancing, or painting while sipping on a Redbull.
